In National News, as the Gulf Coast braces for more storms, cities plan for a New Urbanism, politicians pander, and NASA scrambles. Ben, Phil and Dave will be on hurricane watch again. A Nebraska state trooper enrolled in the KKK fights to keep his job, while a Louisianna bus driver is suspended for sending kids to the back of the bus.

Clearly we have a problem when wages make up the lowest share of the economy ever. California is trying to clear Hemp's bad name. Hollywood probably won't be spending as much $$ on Cruise anymore.

In LGBT News, British football and gay rights in bed together? The opportunists at the Russian Orthodox church are seeking to take advantage of the Episcopalian split. A senate candidate says "Sorry I was a jerk." to the gay community. The Alabama Dems avoid embarassment (and lawsuits). Katherine Harris rears her ugly head again.

And finally, in local news, tons of free stuff was gotten at Mainstage, why won't the University fund its important programs better? CMU GSA luau this wednesday, as they also prepare to unveil their new website.
