Does this make sense to anyone else? A Christian saying that what he says is more important than the Ten Commandments? Phelps--the country's BIGGEST anti-gay biggot--is no longer a Christian, but now a Phelpsist, because--in his mind--his bliefs have surpassed those of God's. He doesn't even NEED the bible anymore! This has gone from a religious issue, to an out-and-out HATE issue. He doesn't hate gays because the bible says so, he just HATES GAYS! And that is UNEQUIVOCABLY WRONG! Personally, I don't think that the bible DOES say to hate gays, but I do believe that it doesn't even matter whether or not it does, Phelps has distanced his own message from the message of the bible, and no longer has a leg to stand on.
